Emergency Evacuation
Shortly after the conception of FSS our management team successfully orchestrated large-scale evacuations for a pharmaceutical company from Beirut in Lebanon to Damascus Aleppo in Syria and in the Israeli-Hezbollah war of 2006
The Company has completed 5 emergency evacuations and assisted repatriations, the most recent for an NGO in 2017. FSS successfully evacuated employees trapped in Mocímboa da Praia in Cabo Delgado Province Northern Mozambique which was under siege from ‘Al Shabaab’ militants.
We will create new or review emergency contingency plans with the Clients security management team, whjch includes full resource listings, methods, means and media. We will visit the country of concern and the Client locations to put in place the planning and practical support mechanisms to ensure that an emergency evacuation caused by general war, civil strife or natural disaster is in place and rehearsed.
In the event of a real time evacuation FSS Operators will go to that country and conduct the evacuation to support and assist Client staff.
Political Risk Management
Mining, capital construction and NGO projects are fraught with risk, both political and physical and with the long timelines that typically occur through the licensing and permitting processes, greenfield projects in developing countries need a deep understanding of the political risk landscape.
Directed from our Hereford offices and with access to our own in-house and a global network of security specialists, FSS will analyse and identify the political risk landscape that could affect an emerging project. We will conduct wide political research and historical analysis of the geo political situation in the area of interest and support this by obtaining further ‘ground truth’ information for security planning from locally resident expert staff,
We will provide detailed presentations and a report of our findings to enable the Client to understand, plan for and mitigate the identified risks by development of pertinent strategies.
